Finally, Felix stay behind to tend to his grieving wife. Fifi and Poppy left to investigate the red substance on the painting, Pointer and Penny left back to their room, Fitz went to the stone garden to inform Hawkshaw of Freya's death. With the exception of Hawkshaw, everyone saw the dead corpse of Freya. Penny and Felix bumped together and went to Flora tower. Poppy, Fifi and Pointer met together went to Flora tower to witness Freya corpse. Felix later witness Poppy somewhere and seeing her crying thought that Fitz made her sad, so he went to Fitz room to investigate. Meantime, Pointer was heading down to Flora tower and met with Hawkshaw at the library entrance, Hawkshaw also met Penny and pointed her the direction of her uncle. Poppy decide to go to Fifi room to tell her Freya's death. First, Fitz and Poppy heard an odd sound coming from Flora tower, Fitz broke the door down to find Freya dead and Flora alive. Soon, after investigating the painting, they investigate the crime scene, the rest of Tangle Tower and its inhabitants to solve the case. Detective Grimoire made the false assumption that the painting stabbed Freya which annoy Sally. What made the case unique was the painting itself as it look like the subject of the painting, Flora Fellow, the matriarch of the Fellow family, was holding a bloody knife with the red substance on the 'knife' is blood. Tangle Tower follows Detective Grimoire and his new partner Sally Spears as they visit the mysterious Tangle Tower, home of both the Pointer and Fellow families, to solve the murder of Freya Fellow, who has seemingly been stabbed to death by a painting of her relative Flora Fellow.
